| We invite you to submit proposals for consideration on topics that will deliver knowledge on HR management, employment law, and labor relations topics as they specifically relate to HR and union professionals who work in the hospitality industry. Topics for which we are most interested in receiving proposals are: innovative recruiting and sourcing strategies, career path/staff planning initiatives, empowering employee relations practices, managing discrimination, harassment, immigration and FLSA issues, international HR management issues, performance management systems, effective compensation and benefits systems; and “best practices” case studies. Sector-specific (hotels, restaurants, casinos) proposals of interest to mid-cap and large organizations are especially encouraged. |
The HR in Hospitality™ Conference & Expo covers a broad range of HR issues. Individuals chosen to speak will have the opportunity to share their expertise with professionals committed to finding the most innovative solutions for their organizations, and are expected to provide attendees with copies of their presentations and related materials. PowerPoint presentations are greatly encouraged, and all presentation materials must be delivered in electronic format to the conference producer (LRP Publications) at least 45 days before the conference. Presentations for “best practices” case studies must include a directly involved subject matter expert at a VP level or higher. In addition, presenters will be asked to partner with us in attracting additional practitioners to their sessions and to the entire event. |
